Janet Gail McKinnon Hodgers

      Janet was born on Aug. 26, 1944 in Vincennes, Indiana. She is the daughter of George Ellis McKinnon and Mary Jane Houk. She married John Henry Hodgers on June 10, 1967 in Redmond, OR, Deschutes County. He was born Jan. 25, 1941 in Nogales, Mexico. He is the son of Hector Manuel Hodgers and Carmen Leonila Ramirez.
      Janet (Jan) went to school in Redmond, OR for grades 1-12. She later would attend the college Oregon State Univ. in Corvallis, OR. She also learned Bachelor or Arts Languages at Portland State Univ. In 1967, after graduating she became a Spanish teacher at Hillsboro Highschool. A year later she was still teaching at the same school but she was now working as a Language Arts and Social Studies teacher in. By 2001 Janet was active in many book clubs and many hiking adventures. She had a great love for the outdoors and the many secrets that there were to discover. In 2002 she moved from Redmond to Bend, OR.
